Welcome to Medicfile.net. My name is Michael Mathis and I am the president and creator of Medicfile.net. I would like to take this opportunity to give you some information about my background and why I developed this site.
While working many years on the streets as a paramedic, I found out that gathering essential medical information from patients can be a very difficult and sometimes an impossible task. Unconscious or unable to communicate, panic, fear, or pain, from emotional distress; and times of crisis create confusion and disorientation, especially for the elderly and ill. These are just a few reasons a person may not be able to effectively communicate with medical personnel.
Knowing a persons medical history, allergies, and the medications they take is vital information for Healthcare Providers in determining a course of treatment. If no one was able to get in touch with their emergency contacts, time would become a factor in that treatment, and that time can be critical in an emergency situation.
My goal in creating Medicfile.net was to give people a way to put all of their pertinent medical information on a secure website that can be updated as their medical history changes. With the technology that we have today every physician and hospital has access to the internet and with Medicfile.net this is the future for all of us to keep our vital medical information with us at all times and at the fingertips of all physicians and hospitals.
I have priced this at a very inexpensive price that I think everyone can afford. For me and my family this is a service we cannot live without. I hope everyone will benefit from this new service in that it may save yourself or your loved ones life in a time of crisis.
